Sunflower Granny Square 

Use 6.5mm hook

With Tan Yarn

Round 1: Start with magic circle, ch3, 11dc, slip stitch to top of beginning ch3

Do not tie off

Round 2: ch3, 1dc in same stitch as the slip stitch from Round 1, 2dc in each stitch around, slip stitch into top of beginning ch3

Tie off and weave in ends

Use Yellow Yarn

In Front Loops Only

Round 3: Insert hook into any front loop,

Flower Petals: (ch5, slip stitch into second chain from the hook, 1sc in next chain, 1hdc in the next 2 chains, slip stitch into FLO of the next stitch) make 1 flower petal in each front loop around.

To finish round: slip stitch in the same front loop as beginning ch5

Tie off and weave in ends

Use Green Yarn

In Back Loops Only

Round 4: insert hook in any back loop from Round 2, ch4, 2dc in one loop, ch1, skip next loop, 3dc in one loop, ch1, skip next loop, (2dc, 1 triple crochet) in one loop, ch3, skip next loop

Corners: (2dc, 1 triple crochet) in one loop, ch3, skip next loop, (1 triple crochet, 2dc) in one loop, ch1, skip the next loop

Loop between corners: 3dc in one loop, ch1, skip next loop

To finish round: (2dc, 1 triple crochet) in one loop, ch3, skip next loop, slip stitch to top of beginning ch4

Do not tie off

Round 5: ch4, (3dc, ch1) in next 2 chain spaces,

Corners: 3dc, ch3, 3dc, ch1

Spaces between corners: 3dc, ch1

To finish round: 2dc, ch3, slip stitch to 3^rd chain of beginning ch4

Tie off and weave in ends
