Special Stitches Front Post Double Crochet (FPDC):  yo, insert hook from front to back behind indicated stitch and then through your work so hook is now at front of work again, yo, pull up a loop, yo, pull through 2 loops on hook, yo, pull through last 2 loops on hook.
multiple of 3 chain plus 2

Row 1:  dc in 4th chain from hook, dc in each chain across, turn

Row 2:  ch2 (counts as first hdc), *FPDC around next dc, dc in each of next 2 dc *, rep from * to * across to within last 2 dc, FPDC around next dc, hdc in top of previous row turning ch3 (known as last dc), turn

Row 3:  ch2 (counts as first hdc), * dc in next stitch, work FPDC around each of next 2 stitches *, rep from * to * across to last 2 stitches, dc in next stitch, hdc in top of previous row turning ch2 (known as last hdc), turn

Row 4:  ch 2 (counts as first hdc), *FPDC around next stitch, dc in each of next 2 stitches *, rep from * to * across to within last 2 stitches, FPDC around next stitch, hdc in top of previous row turning ch2 (known as last hdc), turn

Row 5:  ch2 (counts as first hdc), dc in next stitch, *FPDC around each of next 2 stitches, dc in next stitch *, rep from * to * across to within last 2 stitches, dc in next stitch, hdc in top of previous row turning ch2 (known as last hdc), turn

Repeat Rows 4 and 5
