A bubbly texture of thick puffs combined with open work.


Multiple of 6 chain plus 4

Row 1: skip 3 chain, *(1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet) in next chain, skip 2 chain, 1 puff [(yarn over, insert hook, draw up a loop) 4 times in same chain, yarn over, draw through 9 loops], chain 1, skip 2 chain*,  (1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet) in last chain, chain 3, turn

Row 2: * 1 puff in 2 - chain space between 2 double crochet of previous row, chain 1, (1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet) under loop that closes the puff in previous row*, 1 puff, 1 double crochet in 3 – chain space at beginning of previous row, chain 3, turn

Row 3: (1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet) in top of puff, * 1 puff in 2 – chain space, chain 1, (1 double crochet, chain 2, 1 double crochet) in top of puff*, 1 double crochet in 3 – chain space at beginning of previous row, chain 3, turn

Repeat from Row 2
