Pineapple Stitch

 Follow along with my video tutorial.


A thicker stitch then soft clusters, but still somewhat flat. In light weight yarn, a popular stitch for stoles.


Multiple of 2 chain plus 4

Row 1: skip 3 chain, * 1 pineapple [(yarn over, insert hook, draw up a loop) 4 times in same chain, yarn over, draw through 8 loops, yarn over, draw through the last 2 loops], chain 1, skip 1 chain*, 1 pineapple, chain 3, turn

Row 2: * 1 pineapple in each chain space of previous row*, 1 pineapple in the turning chain space, chain 3, turn

Repeat from Row 2
