Alternate Stitch


Two single crochets worked in every other stitch yield a firm fabric with leaf-like motif.

 Multiple of 2 chain (ch) plus 2.

Row 1: skip 3 chain, 2 single crochet (sc) in next chain, *skip 1 chain, 2 single crochet (sc) in next chain*, repeat from *, chain (ch) 2, turn.

Row 2: * skip 1 stitch, 2 single crochet (sc) in next stitch*, chain 2, turn.

Repeat from Row 2.
