Up And Down Stitch

A varied texture produced by alternating single crochet (sc) and double crochet (dc) stitches.

Multiple of 2 chain plus 2

Row 1: skip (sk) 2 chain, 1 single crochet (sc) in next chain, *1 double crochet (dc), 1 single crochet (sc)*, repeat from * to end of row, 1 double crochet, chain 2, turn.

Row 2: skip (sk) 1st double crochet (dc), *1 double crochet (dc) in single crochet (sc) of previous row, 1 single crochet (sc) in double crochet (dc) of previous row*, repeat from * to end of row, 1 double crochet (dc) in chain (ch) 2 of previous row, chain (ch) 2, turn.

Repeat from Row 2
