Double Chain Stitch

A double chain stitch makes a sturdier foundation then a simple chain. It can also be used alone for a narrow trim or cord.



Make a slip knot and chain (ch ) 2, work 1 single crochet (sc) in second chain from hook. 

*Insert hook under the left loop of the single crochet (sc), catch yarn and draw up a loop, yarn over (yo), draw through 2 loops.*

 Repeat instructions between * * until chain is the desired length.
