Lacy Scallops

Small shells worked in narrow chain spaces form a delicate, open pattern; suitable for a baby garment.

Multiple of 6 chain plus 4

Row 1: *skip 5 chain, (2 double crochet, chain 3, 2 double crochet) in next chain*, skip 3 chain, 1 double crochet in last chain, chain 3, turn.

Row 2: *(2 double crochet, chain 3, 2 double crochet) in 3-chain space*, 1 double crochet in top of turning chain, chain 3, turn. 

Repeat from Row 2.
