Basket Weave Stitch


An unusual dimension is created by working around the posts , first to the front, then the back.

Multiple of 6 chain 

Row 1: skip 3 chain, * 1 double crochet (dc) in next chain*, repeat from* to end of row, chain (ch) 2, turn.

Rows 2 and 3: skip 1 double crochet (dc), *[1 front post double crochet (fpdc)] 3 times, [1 back post double crochet (bpdc)] 3 times*, [1 back post double crochet(bpdc)] 3 times, 1 double crochet (dc) in top of turning chain, chain (ch) 2, turn. 

Rows 4 and 5: skip 1 double crochet (dc), *[1 front post double crochet (fpdc)] 3 times, [1 back post double crochet (bpdc)] 3 times*, {1 back post double crochet (bpdc)] 3 times, 1 double crochet (dc) in top of turning chain, chain (ch) 2, turn. 

Repeat from Row 2.
